"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs,
even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor
spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live
in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
— Theodore Roosevelt, 1899

Hey Brett, thank you for all that you do! I haven’t found anyone online whose content I align with more. I appreciate the balance you strike with the old and the new. As a 26 year old who is told he was born in the wrong generation often, AOM has fit me like a glove. Shout out to Kate as well! You guys make a great team. Thanks again.
Hi Brett,
43 year old dude here who’s been reading AoM since the early days. Keep on keepin’ on!
Brett: Thanks for the many years of continuous inspiration to challenge and be better! Best to you and Kate and your family!
Thanks for all you do Brett! I’ll be following till they shut the internet down!
Long time follower. Love your work!
Underrated!!!!
Hola Brett. Hace muchos años que sigo tu trabajo y el de tu esposa. A lo largo del tiempo me enteré que viviste en México, mi país. Un abrazo y síguele echando ganas, cuate!
Hi Brett, love your work on AOM. It’s such a great website for pretty much everything a man could need. Blessings to you, Kate and the family.
Hi Brett, I have been a long-time reader/listener of AoM. Thanks for all you do!
The time since I last signed a web page guest book is (was) measured in decades.
What other activity was last completed that long ago, yet somehow feels so familiar at the same time?
Hey Brett
Thankyou for all your amazing work over the years.
With 5 young children including 4 boys you have been a real inspiration.
I’ve loved reading The Art of Manliness for years, and joined The Strenuous Life at the start of 2022. It’s been great. Thanks, Brett!
Brett, been a follower for a great many years at AoM and now at Dying Breed. Thanks for the fun reminder of what the internet looked like when it was still fun. Here’s to many more years of content.
Cheers!
Nik
Well, well, well. If it isn’t Brett, the man’s man McKay. I feel like I’m signing your yearbook. I’m a high school teacher and sign them every year.
Thanks for being my main jam on AoM, Dying Breed, and TSL. Class 90, baby! Stay cool, have a great summer, and let’s hang out sometime! 😀
Long time listener and reader of AoM. Thanks for what you do. Stay manly!
Hey Brett, longtime fan. I have been enjoying your work for over eleven years.
Hey Brett, I found you through Art of Manliness when I needed to sew a button back on some pants and your site made it feel, well, more manly, to use as a guide. I’ve been reading on your site and now Substack ever since. Keep it up, man! And thanks!
Thanks for all the hard work over the years! I’ve been an avid podcast listener, TSL member, and love Dying Breed. It always brightens my day to see a new McKay, Inc drop.
Hey Mr. McKay! I had a complicated father son relationship growing up. At the end of my mission I wrote to all my father figures that helped me out growing up. I was going to write you too! I got home January 14,2021 and read your article about looking for a father in all the wrong places written Jan 21 haha and took it as a sign not to. But better late than never. Thanks for teaching me more about manhood than anyone else. I’ve been reading your site since I was 14 years old. You’re a legend.

Mr. McKay,
I started listening to your podcast back around 2012–2013 when I was about 10 years old, just heading into middle school. I’ve been listening ever since.
A lot of the things that shape my life today really trace back to something I heard on The Art of Manliness. Now at 23, things like yearly backpacking trips with 20+ guys and our Wednesday morning rucks and coffee (which we’ve kept going for 5 years straight) all have roots in your work.
Just wanted to say thank you for what you’ve built, and for the impact it’s had on me, my dad, and now my children!
Hey, Brett! Loving the current AngelFire/Geocities vibe! The good ol’ days! Also really jealous of the Roadmaster. I’d settle for ‘93 Impala, too, though not as much cargo space.

Hey Brett,
Thanks for all the cool life-changing content you bring! Also, sweet vintage website aesthetic! Keep it up! 🙂
Just coming in to say hi!
Brett & Team – Thank you for years of consistently great content and great interviews. I have purchased so many of the authors’ books after listening to interviews or reading articles. You’ve helped my indulgence in Ancient Greek History & Literature. Thanks.

Wow, wonderful blog format! How lengthy have you been running a blog for? you made blogging look easy. The whole glance of your site is great, as well as the content material! eesti kasiino boonused
I was skeptical about signing up at first, like why would this be any different right? But honestly I was pleasently surprised by how straightforward everything is—no confusing menus or sketchy vibes, just a clean site that actually works how its supposed to. zodiac login
